Bajaj had displayed the Pulsar 220 DTSF-i in January 2006 at the Delhi Auto Expo. Since then it has been a long wait for the "Young at Heart" and "Performance Hungry" Desi Bikers. Many prospective buyers have been waiting with their Check Books ready since last 18 months.

Meanwhile Bajaj had so far launched just 2 batches of 20 odd Pulsar 220's in Pune alone. Now after 18 months there are hints that the Pulsar 220 DTSF-i might be launched nationwide finally..!!

Suraj, a regular visitor to "The Bike Chronicles of India" recently commented that a Black Pulsar 220 was seen in Khivraj Bajaj (Kasturba Road Bangalore).. There is also a discussion going on in XBhp.Com that a few Pulsar 220 are available for booking in Mumbai and that a few guys from Mumbai have already made their bookings.

On my visit to Khivraj, I was told that the Pulsar 220 should be there by this month end. Even though the salesguy did not give me his word, he did sound quite positive...
