Promotional Videos of the Yamaha YZF-R15 and Gladiator Type-SS..
Thanks to a comment on "The Bike Chronicles of India" by a reader, I was able to download the promotional videos of the Yamaha YZF-R15 and the Gladiator Type-SS uploaded recently on the Yamaha India Website.
From the videos, the Yamaha R15 does seem to be a nimble bike.. but sadly the quality of the videos (especially of the R15) is of low-resolution.
Nevertheless, watch these videos uploaded by me on YouTube..

Thank you Mr.Payeng, you are one committed blog owner. The R15 looks like something India has never seen before but fatter tyres would have given it a better look, don't you think so?
That's the bike...
amazing.. video.. Thanks Payeng
I go with Anil Kumar for the fatter tyres. Not only looks alone..... but a fatter tyre would have provide better grip for this bikes which sure a blazer!!!!
i don't agree with anyone who says that thin rear tyre will not give enough grip.
MRF has specially designed tyres for R15 and these according to them are very light(cause they are thin and made of special rubber)and have very good grip(maybe better than many of the current 150's and 180's).
You might be absolutely right Ashes..
But if the Customer "Wants" It Badly.. (in a poll put up on this blog, more than 80 % had voted in favor of wider tyres).. Why not give it to him..??
