13 Suzuki to Launch the Inazuma 250 in India soon

Any body interested..??

"Yunhi Nahin Bike Design Karte"

Each and every Suzuki two wheeler that I have ever ridden had already left me mesmerized with the smoothness of its engine and gearbox. The Fiero (150 cc), Heat/Zeus (125 cc) and the GS150R all had engines that felt as smooth as a baby's bottom. Despite the brilliance of the engine and gearbox, none of the mentioned motorcycles failed to keep the salesmen at the Suzuki showrooms busy.

If there was anything that could be more vapid than the The 125 cc Slingshot or the 110 cc Hayate, it was their TV Commercials. Suzuki had to pick up their socks in India.

Just yesterday photo of an Inazuma 250 snapped in Goa appeared on Facebook. It had the mandatory (for India) Saree Guard fixed on it. So yes, looks like we'll have one more TV Advert with Sallu probably mouthing "Yunhi Nahin .... (whatever)" on the idiot box and most probably getting a glimpse of the Inazuma in Dabaangg 3 (should be out right?) as well.

6 Pulsar 200NS TV Commercial.. I expected more

Pulsar 200NS TV Commercial finally uploaded on the net..

Since its inception in 2001, the TV Commercials of the Pulsar has been one of the major reasons for making it the colossal brand that it has become today. For me the PulsarMania TVC (2008) was the Zenith of all the Pulsar TVC's.

So when a new TVC featuring the Pulsar 200NS is uploaded on the net, I obviously sit up and take notice. Posted below if the embedded video of the latest TVC featuring the Pulsar 200NS.

But honestly I am not impressed. I mean there is nothing in the TVC which would make me go "Wow", nothing that makes me hit the "Replay" button, nothing to give me the "Goosebumps", basically nothing that I have not seen..

3 Honda's Splendor Killer, "Dream Neo" launched

Honda's ambitions dream.. the Dream Neo launched, has the Splendor in its sights

Honda has bitten the bullet and decided to match its prices with the competition

Internationally (nationally as well) Honda is obsessed with two key words, "Joy" and "Dream". As Honda's long joint venture with Hero is about to expire, Honda made very clearly stated that it wants to become the number one in terms of 2 wheeler sales in India. And for that to happen, Honda has to overtake Hero's Splendor motorcycle in terms of sales.

To achieve this Dream in India and as a part of its grand plan, Honda Scooters and Motorcycles India Ltd. has launched its Dream Neo motorcycle today.

The Dream Neo is based on the same 110 cc engine that does duty on the CB Twister and Dream Yuga. But there is with a major difference with respect to the earlier launches (CB Twister and Dream Yuga). Honda has bitten the bullet and decided to match it's pricing with the Hero Splendor..!!

5 Honda's Splendor Killer (?), Unveiling on 17'th April

Honda's new model.. unveiling on April 17

The latest teaser running on Honda Scooters and Motorcycle India's website says "Aa Raha Hai Yahan Ka Superstar 17 April Ko" along with a silhouette of a motorcycle that looks like a commuter motorcycle. With such a (cheesy) tagline that is definitely aimed at the masses rather than the enthusiast, the new model should definitely be a mass model.

Of late Honda India has made a lot of public statements on how it want's to be India's largest 2 wheeler maker. So there is more than a fair chance that the new model would have the Splendor (India/World's best selling motorcycle and the primary reason why Hero is the world's/India's number one 2 wheeler manufacturer) in its radar.

4 TVS-BMW Tie Up: Details are still not clear

Details of what the TVS-BMW tie up is still hazy..

‘Made in India’ bikes in the below 500 cc category

TVS has never made anything Big and BMW has not been successful (recently) at anything Small..!!

This has more or less the headline that accompanies the recent TVS-BMW agreement. Although the official statements make it clear that the tie up would ultimately result in manufacture of motorcycles less than 500 cc, by TVS, for BMW.. the complete details of the tie up between these two companies are not still clear.

And in spite of the details being not clear, this hasn't stopped many to proclaim that "TVS would soon launch 500 cc motorcycles", which actually won't be correct to report unless one is clear what this tie up actually brings to the table for both TVS and BMW.

What's Not Clear?
