"When new colors for the FZ-16/S are here, can new colors for the Fazer be far behind"?
Following the updated 2012 Yamaha FZ 16 & S models, the Fazer gets updated too in similar fashion. Apart from new color combindations, the pillion seat and rear fender gets wider and longer, the drive chain gets a new lower protector and the grab rails are new. Also like the 2012 FZ-16/S, the peak torque seems to have come down from the earlier 14.0 Nm to 13.6 Nm.

there are some other minor changes as well
-the overall dimensions has been altered
-front tires has changed from 100/60 to 100/80

The overall dimensions had to change because of the new rear fender. Thanks for pointing out the change in the front tyre aspect ratio.
