12 KTM 200 Duke, Ready for India..!!

The KTM 200 Duke finally makes its appearance in India..!!

The much awaited KTM 200 Duke seems to ready to be launched very soon. Auto Publications seems to have got the opportunity to test ride the 200 Duke. Zigwheels has posted on Facebook, photos of the 200 Duke being ridden by its correspondents. AutocarIndia has also posted a brief first ride report on it's website.

[Special thanks to Vishnu from xBhp for informing me with the above news]

The KTM 200 Duke comes with the exact same "international specifications" of 25 bhp Peak Power with a 125 Kg Dry/137 Kg Kerb Weight..!! KTM is already claiming a (0-60 kmph) timing of 3.33 secs.. which means that the KTM 200 Duke would be the fastest accelerating "Made in India" bike..!!

Also since the 200 Duke is made in India and will be exported worldwide, we can expect an "European Quality Bike at Indian Prices..!!". Can't wait to lay my hands on this exciting bike.

@Everyone- Look at the 3rd pic with 3 Dukes. Which is the red bike in the corner of the pic?? :D Coincidence?

BTW, the bikes look.....superb!! Especially the one with the Power Parts. One of these days, I'm gonna head to the nearest Probiking showroom to do some snooping ;)

Mean Machine
Kudos to Indo - Austrian efforts :)
Practical Bike for Indian roads :D

Terrains like Ladakh will be simplified
But the fuel Tank Capacity N Rear Seat is kind of let down for practical bike. Seems like only kids can hug on those seats.
And visiting Petrol Pump every 250kms will make rider a daam hot poser at the fuelling station :D

Plus limited Pro-biking service center is also a let down. They should extend it to each and every corner of india where bajaj have it service center. Why can't they lean it from leading World Player's like Yamaha and Honda. Seems like i have carry a lot of spares for a long tour too. But still we indians can live with that.

I read it! The First Ride report on Zigwheels. Right now, it seems too good to be true and I don't want to jinx it the way our expectations with the Mojo came to nought and the CBR disappointed us.
Right now, I'm just praying quietly that with that 1.2-1.3 price tag quality on the production versions is not an extra accessory.
