New Metallic Orange color (that changes shades in the sunlight) for the Pulsar 180/220..
Bajaj Auto has without doubt been the most conservative with the color options for its bikes. When other manufacturer's demand premium of around 2-3K's just for some color options, Bajaj has just provided 4 staple colors (Black, Blue, Red & Silver) for its Pulsar range for the last 4-5 years.
Bajaj has now decided to provide a new Dual Tone "Metallic Orange" color option for it's Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220 range of models.
The "Metallic Orange" is a Limited Edition color(apart from the earlier 4 colors). The engine and the technical specifications remain the same. There will be a additional Rs. 500 charged over the ex-showroom prices of these models for the "Metallic Orange" color. Which is according to me is quite resonable.
The "Metallic Orange" color changes its shade from "a fresh yellowish orange in the sunlight to a deep, reddish orange in the shade". [Info Link: Click here..] That sounds cool.. would be worthwhile to check out this new color in the flesh.
The other notable changes on these Metallic Orange Pulsars that sets them apart from the regular Pulsar 180/220 are are:
- Black Colored Air box and Battery covers
- Black Colored front fender
- Black Colored Clip on handlebars and Rear Grab Rail
- Black colored alloy footrest side sets
Posted below are the photos of the new "Metallic Orange" color on the Pulsar 180, Pulsar 220 and the Pulsar 220F.

Good color! But feels something unsmoothy or incomplete...Front mudguard should be given in same orange color.
looks like a modified bike
bajaj may try on white
The metallic-green coloured pulsar launched in Indonesia looked better to me.
they all look alike... :(
I agree with Subhankar... the metallic green looks much much better. This one looks more like the limited edition Pulsar 180

It may be the effect of KTM DUKE.

Arrey...I have seen some orange pulsars here in Kolkata but I didn't notice that limited edition written on the tank. :|
Wait for 2 months...Hero Honda will copy this too.
Looks like Bajaj is going the hero honda way. Only the Suffix to the name is missing.
