The Bike Chronicles of India Gets 2 Million Pageviews
When I started out back in August 2006 (it has been almost 20 months by now), I honestly did not think that this blog of mine would become the "Most Viewed Blog of India dedicated to Indian Two Wheelers".

After all I am just another normal and typical biker next door.. but in spite my non-celebrity status, I am happy that there has always been a regular readership.

Thanks a lot guys, your Visits and Comments keeps me going..

The following are a few screenshots of the Visitor Statistics..

Hi,

I can see a strong distaste of you towards TVS products. Still I regularly view your blog. As a blogger you should be and must be a person who convey only unbiased information. I and most of the people I came across did not like Bajaj's patent issue with TVS. It is very much like some one who patent CRDi engine(FIAT can do that) or Twin Spark (Alfa Romeo would have done that) or even Rotax who did the twin spark for BMW could do that. What do you think. By writing biased to Bajaj you will get oppurtunities to take snap with Bajaj and that is end of it. You must appreciate the RTR Fi, Flame, Hondas, upcoming Yamahas etc. Good that Bajaj did not patent side engine...ahhh Vespa had it...Honda Eterno would not see the light of the day. You can delete this comment as offensive, but truth is always truth. dare to publish this comment and see how public reacts..

Lage raho Sats bhai!

P.S. - Don't pay attention to the haters. This anonymous himself/herself can't see that he/she appears like a compulsive Bajaj hater from the comment.

TVS has been coming up with some good stuff of late, but it'll take some time for them to reach Bajaj's levels of innovation. I'm sure you'll highlight this as and when it happens.

i would like to say "F**K OFF"

sorry payeng to use such unparliamentry language on this decent blog but really these people are so jealous that they just want to spoil the mood...
its a fact that i started to blog here just to know about TVS Apache RTR160 which unfortunately i couldnt buy yet, i'm a BIG fan of TVS since i own Victor Gl for past 4 yrs. but inspite of this i never felt this blog to be baised to any particular company. its the true & fair point of view what i believe is expressed here, so i'm still a fan of Payeng & his knowledge in bikes...
have a great time partying payeng..

agreed with anonymous 1.

Payeng is for bajaj b'coz he owns one. perhaps he has an inferiority complex with tvs products.

Sorry if i'm offending.

but coming to this matter, you said: ''I honestly did not think that this blog of mine would become the "Most Viewed Blog of India dedicated to Indian Two Wheelers".''

Isn't this the only 'Blog of India dedicated to Indian Two Wheelers' there is?

i've no knowledge of others

like Payeng once said "the fact that you are anonymous says it all" (or something like that)

Payeng, Double Congrats to you!. You really Deserved it.

Mr. Anonymous,

Whoever you are, did you get a chance to read every post in this Blog? I don't see any Bias towards Bajaj here. Payeng bought a Bajaj Bike because he liked it. Every opinion that anyone gives is based on their own experience and they have every right to do so.

Have u read the OVERDRIVE magazine? Every opinion of them will look to be against TATA or Bajaj (Purely Indian Vehicles). Unless there are many compelling reasons, they don't recommend Bajaj. If you read their Review on the TVS Apache RTR, it would look like its the best bike in the world. So you call them TVS biased? NO. Its only how OVERDRIVE feels it.

And Magazines like BIKE INDIA, BS MOTORING seem to like Bajaj. You call them Bajaj Biased? NO. Again, its their opinion.

That's why when we buy something, we try to read as many opinions as possible and get the best of them. You can't stick to just one place because we are always VFM conscious.

If you read Payeng's review on the Avenger 200, you'll think he is the one who hates BajaJ the most. He has written many posts on Yamaha and Hondas. And he has also said, if he had money he would own the TVS Apache RTR and use it in the city as the P220 is a pain in the city.

So understand that everyone has right to express their opinion and you too have it. That's y u have posted your view on this blog.

But I recommend that you read more thoroughly before you come into such conclusions.

Now, with my nick name you may call I'm biased to something. I don't care.

Dude, do you even ride bikes???? I doubt because if you had the slightest of the passion of bikes then you won't have written those lines that you have!!!!

You don't even come within lightyears of the passion that Payeng has for bikes. I know him personally, and I know his passion for bikes!!!

Now the real thing....... Payeng "dared" and published your comment ..... and you can even see "the great public reaction in your favor", now you dare furnish your name and e-mail address (as Payeng always keeps mentioning) and I'm sure you would recieve many more public reactions in your favor

Good Luck!!!

@Everyone,

Thanks a lot for your encouragement.. this is what keeps me going..

@ Anynomous(s),

Let me clarify that I am not the Voice of GOD.. I am just another human being with an interest in riding powered two wheelers.

I do not have anything personal against any brand.. Yes I have a Pulsar 220 because I liked it and wanted it. the credit goes to Bajaj Auto that it made such a bike.. What were the other bike maker doing when I was looking a bike..??

If you follow my previous posts you will notice that I love the TVS Apache RTR 160 much more than any other 150 cc bike

I find the Yamaha Gladiator Type SS an excellent 125 cc package

In my opinion, the Hero Honda Splendor as "the Best ever Motorcycle of India"

According to me, where Bajaj Auto scores above the others (apart from making the motorcycle that I wanted to own) is that the Fact that they have the Vision and Guts to think and execute in a way which is "Distinctly Ahead" of the Rest of the Pack..

I am only being honest to myself when I say these things..

@Twin Spark,

Wow bro I am flattered that you serioulsy have gone through my posts..

You too @ Bambang bro..

Hi everyone who reacted,

I am not against Bajaj motorbikes. I can see a situation that Honda cannot introduce a killer twinspark just because Bajaj has a patent. If you folks know anything about patent stuff there is something called "KNOWN ART". It is one which is already invented. Like "I got a patent for 12" round thing made of butyl called tyre." Will you people agree? I had grown up with Suzuki Shogun as my first bike. So more years I had spent on seat than your age. But due to constraints now I am riding a Honda Activa. I thought of buying Bajaj saffire with twin spark but it seems that the whole scooter did not hold as a single piece after one year. Compared to Honda it scores only 5 out of 10. Coming back to bikes, Pulsars are an excellent effort from Bajaj. What prompted me to write the comment is your post in the blog listing line by line of Flame advertisement and making mockery about it. If Flame is launched in time, XCD could not even get half the sales that it gobbles now. As I know the public reaction is wild in this site, you still can publish this comment. Atleast I can see one person who concur with me. Wish you the best for reaching such a good numbers. One more suggestion from my end. YOur blog is good but the site design call for more work from your end. Please go to cubiccapacity.com and see how their blog design is evolved to much readable one. You can benefit from it. Also you can remove the video appearing at top, move your full image to half photo and make it your site header and make it more aesthetically pleasing one. You can change the background to subtle hue rather than plain white. Like your effort.
Thankxz.

Payeng,

Yes. I read every post of yours though I don't commment on all of them.

Anonymous,

The early bird gets the worm. Bajaj has got the Patent only in India. And I'm not sure the Intellectual Property Rights of India Grants Patents Just like that or for anything that is copied (as you think). Bajaj has done work behind that which we don't know and cannot know (its their IPR).

Payeng published the Patent war as a NEWS which very other newspaper did.

You just can't wake up and become one of the largest selling bikes in places like Indonesia, Mexico and South Africa.

Its not a Sin being a fan of Bajaj.

I think others would agree.

Hi Twinspark,
Hope I need to read the Bajaj patent whitepaper before I put next comment.
I am looking forward for the sporty scooter coming out of Bajaj. I actually require one with higher capacity and riding comfort. I was keeping my finger crossed for Blaze but it was such a failure and it is not new for Kinetic. Earlier I happened to ride Kinetic Y2K for one year and I know what it makes to be a Kinetic.(Vibration, rattles etc.). I never rode the SYM but there too I can see a marketing failure. It should be a less than 125cc scoot. What SYM helped Hero Honda pleasure to gain more sales. i don't like the unaesthetic look of new Honda and I was hoping it to have a fuel injection. But there too Honda is having its own dreams. Same old Activa engine is plodded. Though the engine is excellent and bullet proof, what would be the reaction if the new scoot had fuel injection? I will create ripples in market. Now eventhough it is positioned as a make scoot, it cannot hold a candle to its stable mates. So Honda hurry up and have a Fi.

Err.. Does some one also think that Anonymous has gone way off topic ? Or its only me who thinks like that ;=) ?
