Scoop Pics of the new "Unit Construction" Engine from Royal Enfield
The following pics were found at Xbhp.Com. The pics clearly shows that the new "Unit Construction" engine platform from Royal Enfield is almost production ready. On my last visit, I was told at the Royal Enfield showroom that the new models with this new "unit construction" engine might come out by this year end.
This is definitely a step in the right direction from Royal Enfield. One just hopes that the new engine is more reliable in terms of quality over the present "cast iron" engine. One also hopes that it retains the character of Royal Enfield bikes and also the characteristic "thump" of the exhaust...
