5 KTM 200 Duke unveiled in Malaysia [Photos]

KTM 200 Duke makes it's appearance in Malaysia.. ahead of India

On 26'th Aug 2011, KTM unveiled it's (made in India) 200 Duke in Malaysia..!! It can't exactly be called as a launch as the actual deliveries would commence only from 2012. Also as announced officially a couple of weeks back, the KTM 200 Duke will be launched in India by 2012 Auto Expo (Jan 2012).

The KTM 200 Duke would most certainly be my next bike..!!

Posted below are more photos of the KTM 200 Duke. As expected it looks virtually similar to the 125 Duke except the 200 (in place of the 125) badging on the tank.

Right now there is no point speculating on the Specs or the Price for India and I would rather wait for the official announcement. Anyway the 125 Duke makes 15 Ps with its 125 cc engine and therefore one can make a guess how much power the 200 cc Duke could make.

0 Bajaj Boxer BM150 First Photos

First photos of the Bajaj Boxer BM150..

Dubbed as the "Bharat Bike" by Bajaj, the new Boxer 150 has been already "soft" launched in a couple of states like Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Now for the first time photos of this new bike has emerged on the net. This one seems to be taken in Tamil Nadu. Posted below are the first photos of the bike designed for "Bharat"/Rural Indian customer.

Expected Price: It was earlier officially stated that the ex-showroom price of the Boxer 150 would be near the Rs. 40,000 mark. So far there has been no official word on its final price or the engine specs.

It's a Herculean effort to budge rural India from its fixation from the Hero Honda (now Hero) Splendor/CD Deluxe..

150 cc engine on a basic bike

For the developed world a 150 cc is a puny engine capacity but for most Indian's it is the first step towards performance/thrill biking. So when a 150 cc engine is put on what looks like a basic, utility bike, I guess most Indians would be surprised. Especially the ones who will never buy the Boxer BM150.

12 Official Confirmation: New Yamaha R15 launching on Sep 6, 2011..!!

Finally some official dope on the New Yamaha R15.. No details about the specs, price yet..

The words in the poster/photo posted below has the words "leaner", "meaner"" to describe the new R15 (version 2.0 according to them)..

..but curiously "faster" seems to be missing. So is it just a cosmetic upgrade? Guess will have to wait till 6'th Sep for the official specs.

2 Hero MotoCorp revamps its website + new corporate TVC "Hum main hai Hero" by AR Rahman

More chages on the Hero MotoCorp front.. after a new corporate logo, it's a new corporate TVC + a revamped website now

Things are slowly but surely changing at Hero MotoCorp (earlier known as Hero Honda). First it was the unveiling of the new corporate logo and now it's website gets a complete overhaul.

The new site is way better in terms of it's visual appeal compared to the older HeroHonda website. The site seems to have been designed by the London firm Law & Kenneth's Digital arm. Needless to say, the end result is very professional.

Despite the new Coporate logo and the new website, the "HeroHonda" badging on the models still remains.. but I am sure that will time the "HeroHonda" badging on the products will too slowly disappear.
