I still remember the ad of Passion 2001 - "Born in a Studio not in a factory". After this ad only Bajaj come with an ad for Pulsar, "Born in Gym not in a factory" - something of that sort. And the Ninja has to make do with a set of old-school clocks!

In addition to the headlamp, I guess the Passion was the 1st bike to have an MFR (multi focal reflector) tail-lamp too. From the ad shots, it seems like the disc-brake was introduced as an option in 2008melvillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09191674981800831554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-167798941970247934.post-88253814387258620782010-11-13T00:48:35.359+05:302010-11-13T00:48:35.359+05:30yes its right but when a customer spends 56000 bug...yes its right but when a customer spends 56000 buggs he needs needs some extra requirement atleast self start not digital display on his bike, now a days self start had became a standard mendatory as we seen on star city and discover 100.praveenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11584129256351748168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-167798941970247934.post-8574439250981367362010-11-12T10:02:47.026+05:302010-11-12T10:02:47.026+05:30@Shaiju, the "Passion" logo is now paste...@Shaiju, the "Passion" logo is now pasted on the tank instead of on the side panels as on the earlier variants.

Goes to show that the Passion is now a brand which can stand on its own

@Praveen

had it not been for the competition, the Passion might not have even come with the self start.
