Kawasaki replaces its Ninja 250R in India with the new Ninja 300.. prices announced

Kawasaki today officially launched the Ninja 300 in India with a price tag of Rs. 3.5 lakhs (Ex-Showroom Delhi). Which means that there has been a price hike over the earlier model. This was anyway expected as the new Ninja comes with completely new body work a new 300 cc engine and revised chassis.

Ninja 300 for India in Lime Green and Pearl Stardust White

Though the high price tag puts the Ninja 300 out of reach of majority of desi motorcycle enthusiasts, the baby Ninja does deserve this premium positioning. The baby Ninja is a gem of a motorcycle to ride and with the recent performance upgrade I am sure that the best beginner sports bike of the world must have only got even better.

Am eagerly waiting for its ride experience now..

By the way Kawasaki has dropped the "R" branding on it baby ninja and the motorcycle is just called as the Ninja 300. Kawasaki India is offering the Ninja 300 in 2 colors in India. [1] Lime Green and [2] Pearl Stardust White. For the time being ABS option is not being provided in India. However based on the demand the motorcycle generates, Kawasaki might bring the ABS variant to India at a later date.

How ever the Ninja 300 does have the delightful slipper clutch feature (a feature usually found only on high end motorcycles) which should make rider who like to ride on the edge, grin in delight from ear to ear.
