4 Passion X Pro appears on Hero's Website [Details/Price/Photos]

Hero publishes details of its next model, the Passion X Pro on its official site

Of the three models shown at the 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo (Maestro scooter, 125 cc Ignitor & 110 cc Passion X Pro), Hero finally publishes details of the Passion X Pro on it's site. Having already launched the other two models shown at the expo, the Passion X Pro is now expected to make it to the showrooms very soon.

My Take on the Style: My first impression of the bike in terms of looks is that it is a neat looking commuter bike. The Passion (100 cc) is already a popular model with stylish looks (for a commuter) as it's main selling point. From what appears from the photos, the new Passion X Pro does take the stylish commuter quotient of brand Passion successfully to the next logical level.

My Take on the new 110 cc Engine: Even though Hero has decided to part ways with Honda and there is no Honda branding on the new Passion X Pro, the engine of the Passion X Pro has been shared with that of the Honda Twister. I was quite impressed with the engine on the Twister when I had taken its test ride. One can therefore expect the Passion X Pro also to have the same kind of smooth performing and frugal engine.

Features: The Passion X Pro gets the Digital Display of the Passion Pro and the top variant gets Self Start, Alloy Wheels, Front Disc Brake and Tubeless tyres. Of late both Hero and Honda has been providing Tubeless tyres (at least as an option) even on commuter bikes which is a welcome sign.

Pricing: The top variant (Self+Alloy+Front Disc+Tubeless Tyres) of the Passion X Pro has been priced at Rs. 51,800 (Ex-Showroom Delhi) which translates to Rs. 56,875 (On-Road Delhi) as of 06th Nov 2012. This puts the Passion X Pro attractively and nearly priced at par with the Honda Twister (Rs. 51,191 Ex-Showroom Delhi and Rs. 55,711 On-Road Delhi)..!!

Colors: The Passion X Pro has been launched with a total of 8 color combinations. Visit the official site to view the colors.
