8 2012 TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS - First Ever Pics

Spy pics of the 2012 TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS..

Just today morning TVS had put a teaser photo of what seemed like a new motorcycle from their Apache series, on its Apache RTR - Facebook Fanpage. This made some "blogs" claim that this was a "200 + cc, full faired, fuel injected, 23-25 Ps model.. etc." (as usual). But now a few spy pics has surfaced on Facebook which clearly shows that this is probably a refreshed Apache RTR 180 ABS model.

Posted below are more photos of the 2012 TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS:

payeng, why is it that you seem more interested what other "blogs" have to say?
"new photos that clearly show this is upgraded RTR 180", thats it. should you really be bothered with anybody else?
i have recently started following your blog (on a freinds recommendation) and must say i appreciate your work. the only content i dislike in your posts is, when you try to prove you/your blog is superior than anyother, which i feel is evident in most of your post. well, i have read your disclaimer about the views are entirely yours and blah but it leaves a negative imapct (on me atleast)
regard me whatever, your well-wisher/critic/hater - the view would be entirely yours.

@Saurabh,

Not to "Prove" a point.. but more to "Clarify" that I don't post baseless and senseless noise/confusion.

Whenever I read such stuff, it gets on my nerves.. and I have to let off the steam somewhere.

Damn....this is not satisfactory at all. After seeing the teaser pic I thought of getting something totally new from TVS...but this is ridiculous. Cannot get the full image from the spy pics though, but what I can see, is nothing special.

Disappointing, yes, but I'd be glad with some design changes to the Apache - which really needed an uplift. I am actually glad that the engine is not any different and that gives me some solace. I really love the roar of the RTR.

Must say that I sometimes get the same feeling as Saurabh (in the 1st comment) on reading your blog, but your point is valid too. Some of the claims on other blogs are just whack. And there's 1 blog which gives 'advice' on 'bike' related matters, which rehashes your posts on the very same day that you publish them!

As regards this Apache, it's the usual from TVS, too little too late. I think they're far more proactive with bebeks in Indonesia that with bikes in India.

TVS company should have reduced the size of the silencer and should have designed it in same way as bajaj 200ns .............
TVS should have gone for mono- gas shock absorbers .
Head should have got some chrome treatment with the TVS symbol at the center top .
May be TVS should hear about this..................
