I can't believe it...They (bajaj) comparing 150 cc bike with 100 cc bike??...

El-cheapo!

The only thing missing is RELIABILITY - The other Honda bikes dont break-down, while all Bajaj bikes do.

Image a 100cc Disco chassis on a 150cc disco... its the same story on Pulsars too, boxer chassis was used on Pulsar 150/180, and it went on to 220 as well. Thats Bajaj for you.

@Raj,

the bike is just out and deliveries haven't even started! and you are stating that its missing in reliability? :-)

and how do you explain the pulsar's domination for so long? without reliability Indian public are not fools to have loved the pulsar for so long.

you comment clearly shows your BIASED PERCEPTION

hi, You have a great blog. But i need your help. I wanna complain about the callous attitude of Yamaha India and their agent Cheerans(Trichur). My name is Nitin. I am from kerala. I purchased an maroon Yamaha R15 in March last year. On April 13th this year i fell from my bike and it skidded on the road damaging the front. It has been in the showroom ever since. They promised me that i will get my back in 14 days. It has been 32 days still no sign of the bike. They keep making excuses. The insurance agent complained that they are delaying the inspection. they keep saying they dont have parts. Initially they claimed that they don't have the HEADLIGHT STAY. IT is not available anywhere in Kerala. I reported this to the head-office still no answer from them. Last week they told me that they got the stay and i shall get the bike in a days time. Today they told it will take more time as they don't have another part. I am leaving India on June 1st week. I told them that they said don't worry. What is this I paid over a lakh for the bike and this is what i get. Please advice me what to do. I want to go to consumer court against the company. So that nobody faces such a problem again. MY number is 9846554030. Please advice me what to do

Hi Santhimadom,

Sorry to hear about your experience.. but this is a wrong place to post your grievances. If you don't want to go to the consumer court but want to get your voice heard, why don't you write about your experience to a publication like Autocar India?

I am sure they would help you out. Check out their site: www.autocarindia.com

Hi..i m going to purchase a 125 cc bike but confused between honda cb shine and pulsar 135 ls so please suggest me which one is better in terms of power and reliablity..pls help me

Payeng said...

@Prince,

The Pulsar 135LS is a more sporty bike with a sporty riding position and features like toe only gear shifter and clip on handlebars and split seats.

If you are looking for a sporty bike, then the Pulsar 135LS should fit the bill. If you are seeking for a simple commuter bike with a flat seat, then the Shine or the Discover should be the bike for you.
