13 "Indonesian" Consumer Generated Commercial/Video of the Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTSi

Watch a "Cheeky" Commercial/Video made by an Indonesian Bajaj Pulsar 180 fan..!!

A few days back, an Indonesian visitor to "The Bike Chronicles of India", mailed me a humourous video shot by an Indonesian Pulsar 180 fan/owner. The video has been shot like a TV Commercial.

I couldn't stop myself from laughing out loud when I saw the video for the first time.

In the video, a biker on some other bike stops next to a Bajaj Pulsar 180 rider and tries to intimidate him by wringing the throttle of his bike.. in reply the Pulsar 180 rider just blips his bike's throttle once.. what happens next is quite humourous..!!

Just take a look at the video posted below..

[Those who cannot see the video; Click Here..]

From the video one can make out that..

  • Even though step thru's (called as "Bebek" in Indonesia) sell more than motorcycles in Indonesia, the Motorcycle must be slowly gaining popularity even there.

  • The Motorcycle is seen as a "Man's Bike" in that part of the world.

  • Bajaj uses its once famous in India, "Definitely Male" tag line for the Pulsar 180 in Indonesia.. and the tag line seems to have made an impact in Indonesia too..!!

no it's not vixion, lack of deltabox, vixion's deltabox is not painted so it would be easily identified, i think it's old version of honda tiger but i'm not pretty sure.

the idea of the video is not original though, it's copycat of Castrol commercial, the difference being the bikes, on the Castrol commercial the bikes are CBR150 and FXR.

hi payeng

i am making this comment which has no relation with the above post.

i was observing the high resolution pic you had posted of YZF-R15 and after a sharp look at the speedo i concluded that the bike does not have digital speedo.i think the bike has speedo like VIXION.

am i right?

do you know about it?

@ Ashes,

The YZF-R15 shown at the Auto Expo 2008 had a "Digital" Speedometer.. I am sure about it and even have a photograph of it.

hey, i thought the idea of Castrol commercial is a 2 stroke vs 4 stroke engine (the childish, showoff brat is using a 2 stroke sportbike). I'm sure neither CBR 150 nor FXR 150 is a 2 stroke motorbike.
