12 models in 18 months MY FOOT!!!

Expect Karizma R-'R', CBZ 'MORE' Extreme, Hunk-'ier', Splendor +++, Passion +++, Super-Duper Splendors and the list will go on.

And yes all the new models will have BRAND NEW STICKERS and GRANDPA MUNJAL in REXINE Jackets launching them with pride.

YUCK!!! I wish this company goes down big time

hey when munjal says "all three segments".. does he mean 100,125,150 cc segments or 100, 150, 200 cc?? is hero honda finally planning karizma Fi???

hey i am also hearing rumours of a 350 cc karizma.. are these just like all the baseless ones abt karizma fi we've been hearin for soooooo long??

Payeng said...

@Nirav,

from previous experiences, my opinion is that don't expect much from Hero Honda..

Honda has to provide the technology to Hero Honda first and only then can we expect any new models..

Read this about the Karizma "Fi": When will the Fuel Injected Hero Honda Karizma "Fi" arrive..??

The Hero Honda 350 is probably another Urban Legend..

i am planninig for a Yamaha YZF-R15.i asked the Yamaha showroom guy when will it arrive?he said maybe in june.so i was quite happy.

but now after reading this post i am confused a little bit.should i wait for HH to launch bikes in 150 segment or should i go for a YZF-R15?????????

@Ashes,

after the "Xtreme Makeover" of the CBZ Xtreme,

"Hunk" (Yuck..!!) Moniker on the same platform of the CBZ Xtreme,

The "R" Sticker and "Yellow" speedometers on the "New"(??) Karizma-R..

Wasting the Fuel Injection Technology (PGMFi) on the 9.0 bhp Glamour (Yuck..!!).. while the Karizma still doesn't get it,

.. and having seen the same 100 cc sloper engine since time immemorial..

The call is entirely yours..

This is an excellent blog.. keep it up guys!!..

On this matter wow!! 12 bikes in a year and a half? unbelievable! If only Honda Pakistan could be as good.

We are riding in what you probably sold off 20 years back. Y don't u tell ur govt to start talks on trade with pakistan so some of ur great bikes can be here like bajaj, tvs, enfield and kinetic!!

YOur benefit: more $$ from exports

Payeng i really feel you should add a disclaimer here...
When HH\Munjal says premium they mean a 150CC bike...?

Havent we seen that in Hunk?

The definition of premium is different for us and them, so Aa disclaimer would help not to get our hopes high!

no doubt HH bikes are no more hot on the streets.... they idiot just put a sticker, jazzy colors like rear red alloy with black in front, and some ugly speedometer colors (karizma yellow dials)

and here's your new bike!!!

HH please leran from Bajaj!! i must admit in good price tag you can pick awesome bike like Pulsar........

learn today or else you'll hv to cry tomorrow.

Best of luck HH

I feel Hero Honda from being a PIONEER in 2 wheelers has sadly fallen far behind in the race.

HH could do well to follow Bajaj and learn to rely internally for developing its own technology and create its own unique identity.

C'mon we know you can do India PROUD!

We should not criticize the company only because it aims for economy & not features like available in the bajajs & yamahas but we should keep this in mind that it has not only managed to survive in this tech-oriented market but also has also earned itself the world's largest sellers crown.
The bikes not only provide good economy but excellent build quality. My father has a HH CD100ss for the past 10 yrs & only parts that have been replaced are the bore & a left indicator, thats all.Now thats called build quality, any one out there trying to claim the same from a BAJAJ or a YAMAHA while this bike still offers a 65 km/l milage.
Only draw back of a HH bike is that it is only economy oriented & it does not get the critics approval, thats all.

hero honda has no new ideas they ,have worst designs and dont have the courage to experiment they are growing more old everyday ..........hope they wake up from their sleep or it may get to late

Anonymous said...

Hero Honda is legendary Bike maker..posting better sales..even better than Honda HMSI itself..the build quality is awesome..you can blindly invest on karizma which lasts for 10 years..without any hiccups..where as pulsar grows old in just 4-5 years..after 5 years u just can drive it..and the most importantly..ergonomics...which is taken cane by hero honda...even honda bikes are waste , they dont hav any feel..unicron is simply abigger powerful splendour..where as xtreme n hunk are best machines wid gud riding posture..shine has gt all vibrations above 50 kmph and stunner is way too costly for a 125 cc bike..
