Market Leader Hero Honda has new plans..
"Hero Honda plans $300-350 motorbike." Yes, that is what Business Standard reports on May 29, 2007.
Excited..?? Please read the heading again.. its $ 300-350 and not 300-350 c.c bikes.
That means Hero Honda is planning to build motorcycles that will sell for Rs 12,500-15,000.
Aaarrgh..!!

My comment for Honda is applicable to HH too, it seems...
Alas.. If wishes were horsepower, we'd all be riding around on 400 CC inlines 4's making 50+ PS...
I completely share your feelings Synn..
My hopes are now pinned only on Bajaj Auto and to some extent TVS Motor.. at least Rajiv Bajaj (the "Boss" at Bajaj) has given the green signal for development of a 400 C.C twin..
I only hope the wait is not too long (like the P220)
