Great News!
I was also thinking if Bajaj can make a mark in Indonesia, probably TVS shuld also try it out with the RTR160.
Really great news, just hope they are able to make it to Indonesia and the rest (i.e Success) will follow

If thats true, then Indonesian market must be very profitable. I dont think commericial growth in motorbikes as high as they could be over there. Both companies can easily populate the market due to little competition. It more likely turn into competitive market or manufacturing venture as well. Just my 2 paise.

Munnabhai,

Indonesia is the 3'rd largest market for two wheelers in the world..!!

But Competition is infact tough for both TVS and BAJAJ... the Japanese 4 (Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki) have a very strong presence in Indonesia.

Hey Payeng,

Didnt think Indonesia was very competitive market. I thought several of these companies were looking for market growth. But now I think Bajaj and TVS are trying to compete on the mid price market. But with Bajaj in Indonesia you'll get more quality than chinese bike and less priced than a Japanese one. Meaning Indian bikes will probably have an advantage from locals, maybe?
