7 The "Real" Honda Xtreme.. But Not for India..!!

The Honda that India Should have got.. but didn't

Will the "real" Honda Xtreme please stand up..??
I repeat, will the "real" Honda Xtreme will stand up..??
--- With apologies to Marshall Bruce Mathers

"This is the "real" Honda Xtreme... or may I say, the "Best" Xtreme treatment to a Honda"

Ladies and Gentlemen.. Weighing at 137 kgs, with an engine capacity of 200 c.c, belting out 16.7 Ps Power and 1.6 Kgm of torque. All the way from the world's third largest two wheeler market, Indonesia.. presenting the "Real" Honda Xtreme.. THE HONDA TIGER..!!!

Honda Tiger from Indonesia
Yes, this is the "real" Honda Xtreme.. or may I say, the "Best" Xtreme treatment to a Honda.

"Had the new CBZ Xtreme looked like the Indonesian Honda Tiger, it could have given the Bajaj Pulsar a really tough time"

The Picture shown below shows the first version of the Honda Tiger from Indonesia on the right and the Hero Honda CBZ on the left. Yes, the "original" Hero Honda CBZ is the Indian Cousin of the Tiger. Except for the difference in engine capacities of the two bikes and the Headlamp Fairing, the CBZ and the Tiger were the same bikes.. sharing same set of clothes and also the same engine block.

The Hero Honda CBZ & the Honda Tiger

The engine of the new Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme is actually the 150 C.C Unicorn engine, tuned for better performance. That is perfectly Ok. But why didn't Honda/Hero Honda carry over the looks of the Indonesian Honda Tiger to the CBZ Xtreme..?? Instead, What India got was this one..

Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme

Needless to say that compared to the Honda Tiger, the CBZ Xtreme looks quite ordinary.. Had the new CBZ Xtreme looked like the Indonesian Honda Tiger, it could have given the market leader in the 150 C.C category, the Bajaj Pulsar a really tough time.

Honda/Hero Honda, can we expect the same "Tiger" looks on the CBZ Xtreme/Unicorn when it goes for a revamp next time..?? Please..??

Hi,

My Name is Kiran frm Bangalore,

I own the new cbz x-treme it is a complete satisfactory bike instead of its front ordinary looks. Its Pickup is Mind blowing in its segment, when there is an performance we need not mind its looks.
